Ontario Permit & Compliance Snapshot ("the Service"), operated by 1000144294 ONTARIO INC, provides informational and administrative assistance related to residential construction projects in Ontario, Canada. The Service generates AI-powered preliminary feasibility snapshots based on user-provided information and general Ontario regulatory context.

2. Not Professional Advice

The Service does NOT provide:

• Legal advice
• Engineering advice
• Architectural advice
• Surveying services
• Planning opinions
• Code compliance certifications
• Septic system design
• Permit application sign-off

All reports are generated by artificial intelligence and have not been reviewed by a human professional. Users must verify all information with their municipality, building department, conservation authority, and qualified licensed professionals.

3. No Guarantees

The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided. Reports are based on user-provided inputs and general Ontario regulatory context. Specific municipal requirements may differ significantly from general guidance provided.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information in the intake form
• Verify all report findings with your municipality and qualified professionals before making decisions
• Not rely solely on the report for construction, permitting, or compliance decisions
• Not use the Service for unsafe construction practices, fraud, or to bypass permit requirements
• Not submit confidential third-party information you do not have rights to share

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on report content, permit denials, construction delays, or any other losses.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

Generated reports are licensed to you for personal use. The Service retains ownership of report templates, AI models, and underlying technology. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit generated reports without prior written consent.

8. Payments and Refunds

Payment is required before report generation. All payments are processed through Stripe. If the report is successfully generated and delivered, it is non-refundable due to immediate digital delivery. Refunds are available only for duplicate charges or technical failures. See our Refund Policy for details.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Facilitate unsafe construction or building practices
• Commit fraud or misrepresentation
• Bypass or circumvent permit requirements
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

10. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
