  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We retain Stripe customer IDs and payment references.

  • Browser type, IP address, and usage analytics (anonymized)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Service delivery: To generate your feasibility snapshot report
  • Payment processing: To process your payment through Stripe
  • Account management: To provide access to your dashboard and reports
  • Communication: To send transactional emails (report delivery, receipts)
  • Service improvement: To improve our AI models and service quality (using anonymized, aggregated data only)

3. AI Processing

Your project information is processed by artificial intelligence to generate your report. This includes:

  • Analysis of your project details against general Ontario regulatory context
  • Generation of a structured feasibility report
  • No human reviews your individual project data during report generation

We do not use your individual project data to train AI models. Aggregated, anonymized patterns may be used to improve service quality.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Cloud hosting provider: For data storage and service delivery
  • AI service provider: For report generation (project data only, no payment data)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

  • Uploaded files: Automatically deleted after 30 days (configurable)
  • Generated reports: Retained until you request deletion
  • Account information: Retained until you request deletion
  • Payment records: Retained by Stripe for compliance purposes

6. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data (self-serve available in your dashboard)
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications
  • File a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure file storage with access controls
  • Minimum data collection practices
  • Regular security reviews

8. Marketing Communications

In compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we only send marketing emails with your explicit consent. Transactional emails (report delivery, receipts, account notifications) are sent without separate consent as they are necessary for service delivery. You can manage your marketing preferences in your dashboard.

9. International Processing

Your data may be processed by service providers located outside of Canada. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.
